How Points Add Up: The Ball System Explained

Want to know how your players’ wins, aces, and comebacks turn into points? We’ve got you covered. Let’s make every match count!

1. Player Performance Points:

  • Win: 20 points
  • Loss: 5 points
  • Tie: 10 points
  • Set Won: 3 points per set (max 3 sets)
  • Game Won: 1 point per game (up to 10 games per match)

2. Player Stats Bonus:

  • Aces: 1 point per ace
  • Double Faults: -1 point per double fault
  • Break Points Saved: 2 points per break point saved
  • Break Points Converted: 2 points per successful break
  • First Serve Percentage (above 60%): 5 points
  • Winning Percentage of First Serve: 3 points

3. Match Outcome Bonus:

  • Straight Sets Victory: 10 points
  • Comeback Victory (winning after losing the first set): 15 points
  • Grand Slam Tournament Win: 50 points
  • Masters Series Win: 30 points
  • Regular Tournament Win: 20 points

4. Captain & Vice-Captain Bonus:

  • Captain: 1.5x points for your captain's performance
  • Vice-Captain: 1.2x points for your vice-captain's performance

Additional Points & Penalties:

5. Substitutions:

  • Player Substitution: 3 points
  • Last-Minute Substitution (made less than 1 hour before the match starts): -5 points

6. Injuries:

  • Injury Update: -10 points for each player injured before a match (as per official reports)

7. Player Suspension or Disqualification:

  • Suspension/Disqualification: -20 points
